Rocca Penthouse is one of the newest additions to our luxury catered chalet portfolio in Val d’Isère and commands a fabulous location in the centre of the main village with sweeping panoramic views. Set over four levels, Rocca Penthouse has some of the best views in the village seeing all the way up to the ski lifts in Le Fornet and right down to the gorge in La Daille. This luxury catered chalet is perfect for families wanting that little bit of extra luxury on their ski holiday or friends looking for a cool Alpine retreat in central Val d’Isère. The penthouse has underground parking and a really special spa area including an 8m x 3m swimming pool and Turkish hammam.

Lofty, stylish and fresh

Rocca Penthouse is all about the views and spectacular light that filters through the interiors. Huge reclaimed wood beams and wrap-around balconies give depth and character to make this luxury property simply fabulous. Enter the penthouse by a lift with a private key that opens directly into the living area. The entrance level features an expansive open plan living and dining space with a centrally located fireplace and a beautiful dining table. The furnishings are pared back and thoughtful; beautiful ceramics mixing with reclaimed wood and cathedral windows on three aspects. Contemporary lamps and bespoke art feature throughout this floor and compliment the wooden interior.

The five bedrooms are situated on three levels. Three bedrooms are situated off the central living space, a smaller bedroom is on the lower level and an open stairwell leads to the upper level where you find a cozy bedroom that sits above the main living space with amazing views down towards the gorge of La Daille. All of the bedrooms can be configured as a king or with twin beds and as is to be expected of a luxury ski holiday, they all come with their own private bathrooms. On the mezzanine level you will also discover a cozy snug to watch television or to read away from the main living space, perfect for families with children.

Taking the elevator down to the basement level you will find your relaxing private spa area. The large 8m x 3m swimming pool is a great place to unwind after a day on the hill and there is also a Turkish tiled hammam to soothe achy muscles. Massages can be taken in this area or equally in the privacy of your room. There is a covered car parking space which is included with the penthouse and you will have our Hip Hideouts’ chauffeur service on hand should you require it.

Your luxury ski holiday starts around ten days before you hideout with us, when your Resort Team will contact you to discuss the finer elements for your week, including tailor-made menus and helping with any last minute arrangements; they understand it's all in the details. When you arrive at your ski chalet, slippers will be ready and you'll be greeted by professional and happy staff eager to ensure you have an unforgettable luxury ski holiday with us here in the Alps. Throughout the week you'll be spoilt with beautiful daily breakfasts, afternoon teas and treated to an elegant three course dinner on five of the evenings, as between every knife and fork, magic awaits. If you need a tailored children's menu and early dinner for the littlest skiers, we've got it covered. Sip from our carefully selected wine list, in addition to the range of house spirits and curated small batch gins, if that's your thing, and we'll serve you delicately crafted canapés along with champagne on a night of your choosing. Come hungry and expect the unexpected. And not forgetting our partners, Aesop, Frette and Beltrami, as we'll have you singing in the shower and resting with the best.
