Groups of 16 find this luxury chalet a delight and with over 350sqm of floor space, Chalet Grand Sarire has seven double or twin bedrooms arranged over five floors, with one bedroom having an additional adult-sized bunk-bed that will sleep two more guests comfortably. With a ski in location and quick access to the Le Fornet glacier, arguably the best ski area in the Val d’Isère region, this is the perfect catered ski chalet for families or groups of friends looking for a luxury ski holiday.

Spacious, chic and welcoming

Chalet Grand Sarire is a fresh and contemporary property that gives an overriding feeling of spaciousness. This luxury chalet is divided into two spaces; the main chalet which houses the larger living/dining areas and five bedrooms and a cool, well designed annex apartment with two bedrooms, a further bathroom and private living space. Beautifully finished inside and out in light grey Vanoise stone and mountain larch, the two areas blend together well. There are separate entrances for each and with your complimentary slippers on, you and your soulmates will barely notice the three step distance between doors. The main entrance is on the ground level where you will find a heated ski room for the chalet with good storage and boot warmers. Here you will also find two covered parking spaces, a rarity in Val d’Isère.

On entering the main level of the chalet the sheer size of the living and dining space comes into view. With a length of around 20m, this space is great for cocktail parties or just giving yourself a generous and relaxing area for your family or group. With the addition of a further table the dining area can accommodate 16 people enabling the whole group to eat together. The lounge has a couple of different seating areas in front of a lovely open fire and an iMac work station. Looking out onto the large deck there is a cedar wood hot tub where mountain ibex or chamois can often be seen playing amongst the Le Fornet trees. The central wrought iron stairwell leads up to three bedrooms on the next floor. One contains adult-sized reclaimed wooden bunk-beds along with a king or twin beds, walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom. The other two bedrooms can both be set up with a king or twin beds and share a large monsoon shower room and separate toilet. Ascending to the top floor, the mountains come more into view and you will find a large master suite, which can be arranged as a king or twin beds and an equally large ensuite bathroom. Across the hall there is a smaller king or twin ensuite room with a large terrace and west facing view down to the main Val d’Isère village. The apartment is equally well sized with a fixed king bedroom, king or twin bedroom, bathroom and separate toilet. The extra living space here often works well with families, as the children can have their own space to relax and watch movies or play games.

The rooms in Chalet Grand Sarire all feel spacious and many contain bathrooms with natural stone sourced from different parts of the country. Also four of the bathrooms contain full sized deep bathtubs which are great for small children or those who love a long soak after a day on the slopes.
