Chalet Vanoise is a luxury bed & breakfast ski chalet nestled on the edge of the larch forest in the highest hamlet of Val d’Isère, Le Fornet. Sleeping up to 14 people in five spacious and modern bedrooms, Chalet Vanoise is spread over four floors and provides over 250m2 of living space. This luxury chalet has wonderfully generous living and dining areas and a picturesque and peaceful ski in location. This is a perfect property for groups wanting a little more flexibility from their next luxury ski holiday.

Spacious, calming and thoughtful

Chalet Vanoise is unique with its mix of contemporary grey local stone and large stretches of mountain larch wood walls matched with rococo mirrors and Parisian chic. The main entrance is on the ground level where you will find a heated ski room for the chalet with good storage and boot warmers. Here you will also find two covered parking spots, a rarity in Val d’Isère. A sweeping staircase rises throughout all floors of the chalet and brings you first onto the large open plan living and dining level.

The fully equipped open plan kitchen sits alongside a large reclaimed wood table which can seat 14 for breakfast and supper. The living space has an open fireplace surrounded by seating which looks out over the east facing deck and in the spring catches the morning mountain sun. Separate to this there is also a large flatscreen tv with two sofas which are ideal for watching a movie or playing games.

??All five bedrooms have a large family home style arrangement. On the second floor you will find three bedrooms, two of which have fixed king size beds and two bathrooms. The other bedroom has a fun and unique character to it with four adult sized reclaimed wood bunks and a unique built in queen-sized bunk bed, perfect for children. Ascending to the top floor, the mountains come more into view and you will find a large master suite which can be arranged with a king or twin beds and its own bathroom, plus a slightly smaller fixed king ensuite room with a large terrace and west facing view down to the main Val d’Isère village. The rooms feel large and many contain bathrooms with natural stone sourced from different parts of the country. Also, three of the bathrooms contain full sized deep bath tubs, perfect to sooth those achy muscles after a long day.

The service

Chalet Vanoise is offered as bed & breakfast with the addition of a host who will prepare and make breakfast for you and do the housekeeping on five days. There is no additional food or wine included in the service with this property but there is a wine list from which you can purchase bottles from our cellar if you like. Booking with Hip Hideouts means that you will have access to our well known concierge service 'The Hut', where we can help you arrange transport to and from the resort and also your ski tuition, equipment and lift passes. Your host for the week will also provide additional concierge whilst you are in resort.
