GETTING TO VAL THORENS
The main ways of getting to resort are by private minibus transfer, self-drive, train to Moutiers or helicopter. By road, you can reach Val Thorens in 1.5 hrs from Chambery, 2.5 hrs from Grenoble or Lyon and just under 3 hrs from Geneva. OFF THE SLOPES
High altitude activities - we've got you covered. Val Thorens is home to the highest zip line in Europe at 3230m, reaching speeds of over 100km/h. Want to keep your feet closer to ground? Try mountain biking the Peclet Glacier, ice driving, snowmobiling or snowshoeing. Within the resort there is a well-equipped sports centre with gym, swim, spa facilities, and various sport courts.
