Location
Incredibly positioned on a beginner blue run providing doorstep skiing, just a few metres from the main lifts and two-minute walk to the nearest shops, bars and restaurants. This idyllic location extends guests the opportunity to easily ski in and out. An efficient shuttle service is also available to reach other areas of resort.
Design
Built and run by the Sibuet family and included in the Condé Nast Traveller Hot List 2012, the refreshing Altapura stands out in the Val Thorens landscape with its strikingly bold and Nordic architecture. The contemporary Scandinavian style, characterised by bleached wood, sculpted dry stone and arty furniture is seen throughout the hotels faciltiies, rooms and suites.<br>
The classic and club rooms at 28 sqm are ideal for one or two people for a short stay or for children. For greater comfort, explore the deluxe rooms at 32 sqm or the junior suites from 32 - 40 sqm. Duplex suites are available and split over two floors providing two bedrooms, two bathrooms and living room - perfect for families! All rooms offer fabulous views of the surrounding mountains through their large windows, comfortable beds and stylish bathrooms equipped with a shower and bathtub. Rooms are provided with an iPod docking station, Mac Mini TV HD screen, video on demand, Wi-Fi, safe, mini-bar, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and Pure Altitude welcome amenities.
