Nestled in the authentic village of Megève, Hotel Coeur de Megève is perfectly situated to enjoy some shopping or to soak up the vibrant atmosphere along the iconic cobbled streets, enriched with history. The hotel has a competitive location with only a three-minute walk to the ski lifts and near to the famous church square where you can discover the magic of horse drawn carriages.
Design
The hotel was bought in 2017 by the Kampf family, as they begin their Steller Hotels boutique hotel group adventure. Opening the doors in the winter of 2018 after a full renovation by the creative interior designer Sybille de Margerie. With a contemporary feel, the rooms are finished with walnut woods, warm fabrics and splashes of colour throughout. From cosy attic rooms at 15 sqm to larger suites at 48 sqm, you will truly feel at home. Most rooms feature a balcony or terrace, with beautiful village views or overlooking a pretty mountain stream.
Food & Other Facilities
La Coeur restaurant focuses on seasonal produce honouring the Savoy region and alpine heritage, serving both lunch and dinner. Take the time to enjoy a post-ski treat with afternoon tea or small plates pre-dinner. Executive Chef and General Manager Christian Julliard takes the reigns after three decades of working alongside Alain Ducasse. His motto is “Tradition, Evolution, Modernity.”
Enjoy the cosy living room with a central fireplace away from the hustle and bustle while playing board games or relaxing with a good book. The hotel’s intimate cocktail bar Le Meige is for the cocktail lovers, with surprising new flavours or a chance to appreciate the old classics.
