Location
Perfectly perched on the Bellecôte piste, Aman Le Mélézin has front-row access to the slopes of Courchevel 1850 and yet it feels a world away. Just moments from the heart of the village, this is Alpine seclusion with direct lift access, where fresh tracks meet fine living. Step outside, and you’re clipped in. Step inside, and you’re untouchable.
Design
Built with the poise of a grand chalet and the serenity of a Japanese ryokan, Aman Le Mélézin finds balance between timbered tradition and contemporary calm. Soft oak, local stone, and sculptural light fill its spaces; layered in texture, never in clutter. The rooms are quiet by design. The view, however, speaks volumes.
Food & Other Facilities
Dining here goes far beyond that of a traditional ski lodge. At Nama, Aman’s signature Japanese restaurant, expect precision and restraint; with sushi, sashimi and robatayaki grilled to perfection. Here, après-ski doesn’t mean melted cheese; it means warm sake and wagyu. Breakfast is bright, dinner is considered; and everything in between is seamless. Offering Courchevel’s largest sake and Japanese whiskey collection, the bar is an inviting space with plush velvet stools, parquet floors and mesmerising mountain views. Or choose to unwind in the intimate smoking lounge or oak-panelled salon next to the roaring log fire.
The subterranean spa features heated stone, low lighting, and the gentle hush of water setting the tone for post-ski rituals. Relax into the 14-metre indoor pool after easing your muscles in the steam rooms. There is a cold plunge and a full programme of treatments, from deep tissue to tailored recovery. The in-house yoga studio (with aerial silks) invites a different kind of stretch after the pistes.
