On the edge of the gentle Bellecôte piste, just above the main lift station and a stone’s throw from the resort centre, the Grandes Alpes Hotel has the best location of all the five-star properties in Courchevel 1850. A winning combination of the slopes and resort bars and restaurants on your doorstep.
As one of the first hotels in Courchevel, 2012 saw a complete renovation transforming Grandes Alpes into a handful of exclusive apartments. French interior designer Jean-Marc Mouchet was charged with creating an elegant, contemporary aesthetic which would give both a sense of space and of location. Taking inspiration from French haute-couture, referencing Hermès signature orange in particular, and local craftsmanship, Mouchet came up with something that works on every level.
The apartments can be configured into deluxe rooms (28 sqm), one or two-bedroom bespoke suites (from 100 sqm) or three or four-bedroom apartments (from 150 sqm to 300 sqm). Each has a professional kitchen, ample living space and ensuite bathrooms and are furnished with state-of-the-art technology, cosy wood-burners and local sculptures and artworks.
