Location
La Chaudanne is perfectly positioned in the heart of Meribel at the bottom of the Doron blue slope. By way of private elevator in the hotel, guests can exclusively access the piste a mere fifty metres from the main lifts. This idyllic location also extends to guests the opportunity to step out directly on to the main street and ski back to the hotel.
Design
With a stone and wood facade exterior using a delicate combination of local materials, La Chaudanne features traditionally furnished rooms, soft fabrics and warm hues.
From cosy cocoons of 16-54 sqm up to 40 sqm family-size havens, there is a range of rooms and suites available to accommodate all desires.
Food & Other Facilities
The festive 'Le 80' restaurant is inspired by the tales of Phileas Fogg in his attempt to travel the world in - you guessed it - 80 days, and it serves great food in an exuberant setting. From noon until late enjoy tasty and authentic cuisine with live music performances after nine o'clock. Pastiches of the great explorers, underwater voyages, vast safaris, hot air balloons and other aeronautical memorabilia all tell a story that gives each room a very specific atmosphere. Whether après ski snacking or visiting the candy bar with the kids, it's a fun place for friends and family alike.
Next door in their five-star sister residence, the Michelin star restaurant 'L'Ekrin' serves creative and colourful dishes in a truly excellent fine dining experience.
Children and teens can be kept entertained in the kids area and games room which is supervised during the holidays.
'Chaudanne Sport' ski shop on the ground floor is also on hand to provide you with all your equipment needs.
