Location
With direct access to the ski slopes, the start to your skiing day is made easy! In the evenings, you can stroll into the main centre of this pedestrianised resort in just ten minutes to enjoy Avoriaz's many shops, bars and restaurants. It is all so easy at this boutique luxury hotel in the French Alps.
Design
Standing since 1964, the iconic Hotel des Dromonts appears like a pine cone perched on the cliff - it remains a marked example of contemporary architecture, drawing upon the awe-inspiring mountains that surround it. Picture retro and quirky furniture set against charming and unique sixties themed décor. This classic and peppy style runs throughout the hotel and it's thirty-five comfortable and cosy rooms.
Choose from classic to superior rooms ranging between 17 - 25 sqm, or for families with little ones you can enjoy the space of a family superior room or suite able to sleep up to four guests. The largest room in the hotel is the 44 sqm suite with two bedrooms and a separate lounge area. All rooms feature ensuite bathrooms, TV, Wi-Fi and hair drying facilities.
Food & Other Facilities
After a brilliant day out on the slopes you can warm up in the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel bar - with a hot chocolate, a local aperitif, or a signature cocktail. 'Le Festival' bar at Hotel des Dromonts is a tribute to the great years of the Avoraiz Fantasy Film Festival, is an invitation to unwind. Enjoy drinks or some informal dining with a great selection of burgers, cheese dishes and local specialities and his luxury ski accommodation in Avoriaz.
Alternatively, 'Les Enfants Terribles' (known in Megeve and Val Thorens for its incredible gastronomic food) serves traditional French cuisine in a chic and lively atmosphere.
