OUR SELECTION OF BEST HOTELS IN COURCHEVEL 1850

A playground for the rich and famous - Courchevel 1850 will adhere to all of your luxury needs whilst giving you access to the largest interconnected ski area in the world. Surrounded by luxury ski chalets, five star hotels and the glistening lights of nearby designer boutiques, chic restaurants and glamorous bars; upholding its long standing reputation as one of the best ski resorts in Europe.

THE VILLAGE

The four cluster villages of Courchevel have each developed an individual flair, offering a different feel as you ascend - starting from the more traditional and rustic resorts of Le Praz (1300m) and Courchevel Village (1550m), then heading up to the slightly larger Courchevel Moriond (1650m), before finally reaching the grand Courchevel 1850 resplendently set upon the hillside. There is a frequent and free bus service running between each, allowing visitors to experience the ski area from various starting points. With its selection of stunning chalets and prestigious hotels, Courchevel 1850 is punctuated with designer retailers and over ten Michelin starred restaurants in which to wine and dine. During December, it hosts the Ladies Alpine World Cup giant slalom, and later in the season the famed 3 Vallees Enduro event. Events and ski shows are held in the village throughout the year, whilst major holidays are often celebrated with exuberant firework displays.

The SKiing

Courchevel and its many neighbour resorts are adorned with some of the most stunning skiing opportunities in the world. 600km of piste and 166 ski lifts comprise this incredible circuit. With terrain to suit beginners and experts, Les Trois Vallees has a fast and efficiently connected system allowing you to maximise your day to the fullest. Skiing newbies have access to a variety of free ski lifts at the resort base and plenty of smooth wide blue runs, whilst the intermediate to advanced terrain is unmatched in both quantity and quality. Courchevels local area alone offers 150km - try the Creux run from the top of the Saulire (wide and gentle with gorgeous views, it's one of our favourites!).

There is a broad array of ski schools in Courchevel for every discipline, teaching in over 8 languages. Whether children's group classes or private tuition, the key is to find an instructor that works for you. We'll introduce you to our top ski school partners so that you can rest assured you're in expert hands.
