Design
Le Coucou Hotel was opened in December 2019 by the collection Maisons Pariente, a small family run business. The hotel was built and designed by the Paris-based architect and interior designer Pierre Yovanovitch, working closely with the owner Patrick Pariente and his daughters, Kimberley Cohen and Leslie Kouhana. The quirky design at this luxury Meribel hotel features retro alpine and vintage flares throughout, with strong matte colours. Humorous pieces such furniture legs shaped like ski poles, polka-dot carpets and ice cube lamp shades are found. The rooms have a cosy ski-lodge feel ranging from 29 sqm to 40 sqm, each with their own balcony. The suites offer greater comfort and space, ranging from 40 sqm to 120 sqm.
